Legal Information and Strategy Session Terms
Overview
Welcome to our Legal Information and Strategy Session service. By submitting payment for this session, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
Nature of the Service
This session is a limited engagement for legal information and strategy only. It is not legal representation. It does not create an attorney client relationship beyond the duration of the scheduled session.
The attorney client relationship begins at the start of your scheduled call and ends when the call concludes.
During the session, your lawyer will provide legal information and strategic guidance based solely on the facts you share. The service includes the session itself and up to one hour of record review performed in advance of the call.
Limitations of the Service
This service does not include:
• Legal representation in any court, agency, or tribunal
• Ongoing legal work after the session ends
• Drafting or filing documents
• Attorney attendance at meetings or hearings
• Monitoring of deadlines, statutes of limitation, or legal requirements
Your lawyer cannot and does not guarantee any outcome. You remain responsible for all future legal actions or decisions, including meeting legal deadlines and securing full representation if needed.
By participating in this session, you agree that Montgomery Law and your lawyer are not responsible for the results of your case or any consequences arising from your reliance on the information discussed.
Future Representation
Any future legal representation requires a separate written engagement agreement. No ongoing representation is created by paying for or participating in a Legal Information and Strategy Session.
Jurisdiction and Ethical Compliance
Your lawyer may not be licensed in the state where your matter arises. In such situations, the service is limited to general legal information and strategy, not representation.
If your matter requires legal work in a jurisdiction where your lawyer is not licensed, Montgomery Law may refer or associate with a licensed local attorney in compliance with state rules and the Model Rules of Professional Conduct including Rule 5.5 regarding multijurisdictional practice. Any such arrangement would require a separate written agreement.
Of Counsel Notice
Your session may be conducted by an attorney who is “of counsel” to Montgomery Law. An of counsel attorney has a formal relationship with the firm but is not a partner or associate. In states where Montgomery Law does not maintain a physical office, we rely on licensed of counsel attorneys to provide guidance related to local law.
Montgomery Law and EducationLawyers.com are based in Florida.
Scheduling and Payment
Your session will be scheduled once payment is received. Payment confirms your acceptance of these terms.
