Non-Legal Advocacy Subscription Agreement — Monthly Advocacy

1. Non-Legal Advocacy Services

I understand that I am purchasing non-legal special education advocacy services from Montgomery Law Group, PLLC.

These are not lawyer services. They do not include legal advice, legal analysis, legal opinions, or legal representation. No attorney is being retained through this purchase.

Purchasing or using these services does not create an attorney-client relationship with Montgomery Law Group, PLLC, Dr. Mary Montgomery, the assigned advocate, or any attorney associated with Montgomery Law Group, PLLC. Communications concerning these advocacy services may not be protected by attorney-client privilege.

An advocate may provide educational guidance, review educational records, help prepare for school meetings, participate in meetings, and assist with communications concerning a student’s educational program.

An advocate will not act as my lawyer, give me legal advice, file legal claims, or represent me in a due process hearing, administrative proceeding, or court case.

Legal services require a separate written legal-services agreement signed by Montgomery Law Group, PLLC and the client.

2. Initial Six-Month Commitment

I agree to an initial subscription term of six consecutive months.

The subscription price is $550 per month, for a total six-month commitment of $3,300. The first payment is due when I subscribe. The remaining five payments are due monthly.

Canceling or replacing my payment card, disputing a charge, closing an account, or otherwise preventing an automatic payment does not cancel this agreement or eliminate amounts owed during the initial six-month term.

3. Included Advocacy Time

Each monthly payment includes up to two hours of non-legal advocacy services during that monthly billing period.

Unused time expires at the end of each monthly billing period. Hours do not accumulate, carry forward, or roll over.

4. Additional Time

Services exceeding the included two hours are billed at $250 per additional hour.

Montgomery Law Group, PLLC will notify me when the included time has been used and will obtain my approval before performing additional billable work.

5. Continuation After Six Months

After the initial six-month term, the subscription automatically continues on a month-to-month basis at $550 per month unless canceled.

The month-to-month continuation does not create another six-month commitment unless I separately agree to one in writing.

6. Cancellation

I may provide notice of cancellation at any time. However, cancellation during the initial six-month term does not eliminate my responsibility for the remaining payments in the initial $3,300 commitment, except where required by law or agreed to in writing by Montgomery Law Group, PLLC.

After the initial six-month term, cancellation becomes effective at the end of the monthly billing period in which notice is received. Cancellation notice must be received before the next billing date to avoid the next monthly charge.

7. Payment Authorization

I authorize Montgomery Law Group, PLLC to charge my selected payment method for six monthly payments of $550 during the initial term, monthly payments of $550 after the initial term until cancellation becomes effective, and additional advocacy time that I separately approve.

If an automatic payment fails, I remain responsible for the amount due. Montgomery Law Group, PLLC may suspend advocacy services while my account is past due.

8. Refunds

Payments are nonrefundable once the applicable monthly billing period begins, except where otherwise required by law.

No prorated refund or account credit is provided for unused advocacy time.

9. No Guaranteed Outcome

I understand that Montgomery Law Group, PLLC and the advocate cannot promise or guarantee any particular educational, administrative, or legal result.

Customer Acknowledgment

By checking the acknowledgment box and completing my purchase, I confirm that:

• I have read and agree to this Subscription Agreement.
• I am purchasing non-legal advocacy services, not lawyer services.
• I am not receiving legal advice or legal representation.
• No attorney-client relationship is created.
• I am making a six-month commitment of $550 per month, totaling $3,300.
• The subscription continues month-to-month after the initial six months until canceled.
• Unused monthly advocacy hours do not roll over.
